Local Walks and Trails

Have you not exercised for a while, perhaps years? Walking is a simple, free way of getting more physically active and is ideal for people of all ages and fitness levels. It is easy to build into your daily routine and doesn't require any special equipment.

Health Walks

Health Walks are a supportive and welcoming way for you to start enjoying the many benefits of being physically active

A Health Walk:

· is a friendly group walk

· takes place regularly

· is led by a trained Walk Leader along a risk assessed route

· is less than an hour long

· welcomes new participants who would benefit from being more active

· an opportunity to meet new people in your area and explore places you might not have been before

Health Walks are a Paths for All initiative. For more information check out their website: https://www.pathsforall.org.uk/walking-for-health/health-walks/what-is-a-health-walk n

Walking Groups

Does the thought of walking by yourself worry you or bore you silly? Do you lack the confidence to join a walking group, in case you can't keep up?

Take part in a short, volunteer led, friendly walk in your local area. Find out more about the Health Walks in your area at Paths for All.
