Cornhill Health Trails

There are 3 health trails around the Cornhill hospital site that are designed to be short enough to manage before or after work or during your break. All the routes start at the sign in the open area between the main entrance and the staff entrance, pictured below. Follow the coloured arrows to stay on the trail around the site or access the digital maps below.

About

We all know how important it is to get outside, to decompress and to exercise. It's hard to find time during the working day to do this. The Healthy Working Lives group at Cornhill have put together 3 short trails around the site which are manageable for staff during a lunch break or to break up a long shift. These walks are designed to refresh, revive and reboot.

The shortest trail is suitable for wheelchair users, all trails are within hospital grounds so no need to change your uniform!

We are encouraging everyone to get outside and enjoy a walking break, maybe some head space and thinking time, a walking meeting or some social chat time with your colleagues. For our more competitive staff, try using an app such as Strava to beat your personal best or have some healthy team competition!
