iMatter
Did you know we spend around 30% of our life at work? Our experiences at work not only impacts upon the services we deliver but on each of us as individuals. To improve our experiences at work NHS Grampian recognises we need to understand what those experiences are. Then we can work together to improve our experiences in the workplace and those of others. In NHS Grampian we do this through the iMatter Continuous Improvement Model.
Across NHS Grampian, Aberdeen City HSCP, Aberdeenshire HSCP and Health and Social Care Moray teams use iMatter on an annual basis. This tool is differnt from the Staff Survey's that staff might have completed before as it will be run at team level. The manager and team will get the annoymised overall results from the team questionnaire and jointly they will discuss what is working well and what improvements could be made, this will inclue the development of an action. This means teams can work collectively to make improvements to experiences at work that really matter to them.
This means all staff have the chance to be directly involved in changes to make improvements in their team.
