Jog Works at Dr Gray's

Mondays at 1700 from Dr Gray’s Physio entrance.

The physical and mental health benefits of exercise have been known for a long time. Many people discovered or rediscovered these benefits of during various stages of lockdown. Are you one of those people? Do you want to continue this new found love of exercise?

Some time ago we organised NHS Grampian JogWorks here at Dr Gray’s to help people start running and enjoy running whether this is as a new runner or a returning runner.

This was relaunched this last year but we were put on hold after Christmas when lock down rules changed. We can now meet again and we are looking for runners to join us.

We follow Government guidelines as well as NHS Grampian advice and as we are a running group we will adhere to Scottish Athletics policies. This will involve risk assessments and methods of hosting the groups to ensure that sessions are carried out as safely as possible whilst still allowing participants to enjoy a run.

We are primarily looking for beginners and those just starting off or returning to running but all levels are welcome to take part.

For anyone who feels a more sedate form of exercise is more suitable there are also plans for some Health Walks re-starting from Dr Gray’s and other locations across the area.
