NHS Grampian operates a ‘Cycle2Work’ scheme where you can purchase a bicycle from your pre-tax pay, potentially saving you hundreds of pounds.

Bicyle Repair Station on the ARI Site
A Bicycle Repair Station has been installed on the ARI site. In a nice central location, next to the Lady Helen Parking Centre (and the associated bicycle parking) the unit contains tools allowing any cyclist, staff or visitor, to undertake basic bicycle maintenance.

Cycling Maps - Aberdeen Council
Several maps showing suggested cycle routes around Aberdeen have been produced by Aberdeen City Council using Smarter Choices, Smarter Places (SCSP) funding. SCSP is Paths for All’s programme to increase active and sustainable travel throughout Scotland. The programme is grant-funded by Transport Scotland.
The maps show existing cycle facilities such as cycle lanes, as well as cycle shops, places to lock bikes, recommended quiet routes and recreational routes around Aberdeen.
