Supporting Mentally Healthy Workplaces: Sharing Practice and Shaping National Support
The ongoing development of the national digital platform for employers; and other developments around mental health in the workplace in Scotland.
Poor mental health costs Scottish employers over £2 billion every year. Supporting good mental health and wellbeing in the workplace benefits organisations and individuals, but we know it is sometimes hard for employers to find the right information and advice.
The ‘Supporting a mentally healthy workplace’ digital platform, developed in collaboration with a wide range of partners, including: Public Health Scotland, Scottish Government, the Partnership on Health and Safety in Scotland (PHASS) as well as employer groups, trade union representatives and mental health organisations, was launched on 11 August 2022 to signpost employers to the information they need to help them develop and implement the right approaches that can support good mental health.
As part of this workshop you will have the opportunity, as an employer, to contribute to the continued development of this digital platform. Your views and input are important and will help to ensure that the online platform continues to meet the needs of employers across Scotland.
