Bike for a Bite returns for 2024

It is Bike Week between 10th – 16th June and to celebrate Bike for a Bite returns.

Cycle to work during bike week and claim a voucher for a free regular hot drink and a piece of fruit.

To claim your voucher please email a photograph of yourself clearly at work, with your bike, and / or dressed in your cycling gear. Email to gram.activetravel@nhs.scot.

Alternatively you can upload your image to social media with the following tags:

#bikeweek2024 and #NHSGrampian

However, you must still email gram.activetravel@nhs.scot to claim your voucher

Where can the vouchers be redeemed

Vouchers can only be redeemed at the following sites:

- ARI Aroma Cafes (not the Pink and Orange zone cafes)

- Dr Grays Café

- Woodend Café

- Royal Cornhill Hospital Café

‘Bike for a Bite’ is run in partnership between Public Health and Aroma Cafes.

Full terms and conditions

1. Vouchers will be issued to any member of NHS Grampian staff who works at a participating site and submits a photo to gram.activetravel@nhs.scot which evidences that they cycled to work at least once during Bike Week 2022, which is Monday 10th- Sunday 16th June 2024.

2. The participating sites are: Foresterhill Health Campus, Royal Cornhill Hospital, Woodend Hospital and Dr Gray’s Hospital.

3. Only one voucher can be claimed per person.

4. Vouchers can only be redeemed once.

5. A maximum of 50 vouchers will be issued during Bike Week 2024.

6. Vouchers will be accepted at any of the following cafés: Aroma Cairngorm - Main Entrance Yellow Zone Level 2; Aroma Concourse - Main Entrance Yellow Zone Level 2; Aroma ECC - A&E Green Zone Level 0; Aroma Cart - Rotunda Entrance Orange Zone Level 1; Royal Cornhill Café (non-Barista); Aroma Woodend; Dr Gray’s Café (non-Barista)

7. Each voucher entitles the user to 1 x regular hot drink and 1 x piece of fruit. Plant-based alternative milks are included in the deal

8. The voucher cannot be split or exchanged for alternative items or cash. The voucher will be invalid after one use.

9. If the user wishes to buy more than the voucher allows, they must pay for this themselves in a separate transaction.

10. Vouchers will be valid from the date of issue until the cafés listed in item 6 close for service on Sunday 23rd June 2024.

11. All drinks and fruit are subject to availability.
