Menopuase Awareness in the Workplace- Male Only Sessions
So far, NHS Grampian has run 20 sessions on Menopause in the Workplace over the past 18-months. However, we are responding to feedback that male members of staff may benefit from a male-only session, delivered by a male, to increase knowledge and understanding and gain an awareness of support available in the workplace as an initial step.
BY THE END OF THE COURSE, PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BE ABLE TO:
- Understand what the menopause is, and how it can affect women's lives
- Outline why it is important to raise awareness of the menopause in the workplace
- Identify ways to support women at work who go through the menopause
