Flexitime is a system which you have a degree of flexibility in the way that you work your contracted hours within agreed set limits, by varying your start and finish times and meal breaks, providing that you are present at work during ’core times’. You can have a debit or credit of hours worked within an agreed period which can then be consolidated into up to two days which can be taken as time off, in any combination of full or part days.
