Money Matters

There is a strong connection between wellbeing and financial education. Money-saving expert Martin Lewis published a free textbook covering the following areas which is designed for schools but will benefit most parents and adults:

  • Savings – ways to save, interest, money and mental health.
  • Making the most of your money – budgeting, keeping track of your budget, ways to pay, value for money, spending.
  • Borrowing – debt, APR, borrowing products, unmanageable debt.
  • After school, the world of work – student finance, apprenticeships, earnings, tax, pensions, benefits.
  • Risk and reward – investments, gambling, insurance.
  • Security and fraud – identify theft, online fraud, money mules.

The book is available as a free PDF download. The perfect opportunity to introduce financial wellbeing with your employees as part of an information campaign or an activity.
