Planning and developing your career is an ongoing process, not just something that you do when circumstances make it necessary. Whatever stage you are at in your career, this programme offers you guidance and support to help you along the way. It will give you the opportunity to take stock and consider your personal development and future goals.
Programme Description
Personal development is unique to each individual. This programme will give you time to take stock and explore your future in a practical way and learn how to develop your potential. Key areas covered in the programme include:
- Understand and align yourself with NHS Grampian’s vision, values and behaviours
- Career planning and portfolio development
- Develop self awareness - understanding yourself and others
- Enhance your communication skills and team working
- Improvement processes and improvement activities
- Access to a Mentor
- The opportunities to be proactive about planning development activities that will help you take steps to fulfil your future aspirations.
Target Audience
Bandings 4-6
Programme Duration
The programme comprises three and a half days over a three / four month period with the ongoing support of a Mentor. The programme includes a celebration event for participants to showcase their project; individuals’ manager and senior management are invited to attend the celebration event.
